My old system which was an old Pentium D just wasn't up to the heavy work load I was throwing at it anymore; so I set out to build something faster. I spent a week or so researching what kind of PC I wanted. All I needed was internals because I had everything else. I bought the case back in 08 because I fell in love with it and I knew I had to get my hands on one before they ran out. Once I had purchased the parts I slowly built it over the following week. I took out every screw in the case and sprayed it satin black to match the finish inside. I even had to modify the bottom bracket to allow for space to run a fan and cables. The fan was moved 20mm towards the power supply so I could have more room to run the hard drive cables. I also added some fan protectors to stop cables touching the fan. All the cables run behind the motherboard to maximise airflow and minimise clutter. I wanted the PC to look good in and out even though I can't always see it. The PC is serving me well so far and the Adobe collection loves all that processing power not to mention Photoshop taking full advantage of my CUDA enabled GTX 470.
